TOM LEVINE
We Know Los Angeles
Tom Levine is a Los Angeles native, real estate broker, and founder of Native Angelino Real Estate.
He has decades of experience in global financial markets, is a skilled negotiator, disciplined strategist, and trusted client advocate.
Biography
Tom Levine spent more than 25 years advising institutional, family office, and high net worth clients, beginning as a securities broker and later serving in senior advisory roles.
That experience shaped a disciplined approach to risk, market structure, and complex transactions that continues to inform his work in real estate.
He holds an MBA in finance from the USC Marshall School of Business, earned an undergraduate degree in economics from the Claremont Colleges, and spent a term at the London School of Economics.
Additionally, he writes and hosts The Native Angelino Podcast.
Westside + Wall Street
He thinks in terms of outcomes and strategic impact, rather than simply closing a single transaction.
While most brokers come solely from a real estate background, his perspective is shaped by that deeper financial market expertise, helping clients move with greater clarity and conviction.
While working for investment banks in San Francisco and New York, his primary role as an institutional salesman was to raise capital for public and private companies. His experience spans the capital structure and he has knowledge of options and derivatives markets.
If you wish to entertain a discussion of Wall Street lore, engage him by asking about the stock market Crash of October 19, 1987.
Native Angelino, Neighborhood Expertise
He understands the structural forces reshaping Los Angeles real estate and reads the market the way a portfolio manager reads economic cycles. That perspective is grounded in place.
From Downtown Los Angeles to the water’s edge of Santa Monica, and from the Hollywood Hills to Marina del Rey, he understands the distinct character, local lore, and investment potential of each territory.
Los Angeles Neighborhoods
The many Southern California neighborhoods are familiar not from maps or databases, but from living here. That lived knowledge informs how Tom thinks about value, risk, and opportunity.
His expertise is applied to work across many neighborhoods and submarkets that define Los Angeles.
From established enclaves to areas shaped by changing patterns of growth, access, and demand.
The list below reflects places where local knowledge, judgment, and strategic perspective matter.
