The La Tour condominium tower at 10380 Wilshire Boulevard, 90024, is a 21-story building completed in 1990.

At four residences on each standard floor, a layout that excludes the custom penthouse levels, the La Tour is designed with limited on floor interaction in mind. This engineering choice restricts the building's overall density to just 73 total units across the 21 floors.

Location on the Wilshire Corridor

The La Tour is located on the south side of Wilshire Boulevard 90024, between Devon Avenue, and steps from Beverly Glen Boulevard.

For this page, the Wilshire Corridor is defined as the approximately 1.2-mile residential stretch of Wilshire Boulevard between Glendon Avenue and the western edge of the Los Angeles Country Club.

Architecture and Construction

La Tour was designed by the prominent late-1980s architectural firm Shephard, Nelson & Wheeler. The distinctive glass skin was considered progressive for 1990, and designed to act as a thermal mirror to offset major solar heat gain along the Wilshire Corridor while maintaining clear viewing axes.
