The Carlyle Residences at 10776 Wilshire Boulevard is a 2009 residential high-rise distinguished by its curved glass tower footprint.

This 24 story tower of 78 condominiums, each entered via private elevator. Designed via two firm collaboration between KMD Architects as Design Architect and Harley Ellis Devereaux as Executive Architect.

The highest standards of service. Concierge and valet at the door around the clock. An expectation established in 2009, constantly refined and improved, service and discretion without compromise.

Location on the Wilshire Corridor

The Carlyle is located on the south side of Wilshire Boulevard, between Selby Avenue and Malcolm Avenue approximately three-quarter miles west of Beverly Glen Boulevard.

The Wilshire Corridor can be roughly defined as the 1.2-mile stretch along Wilshire Boulevard from the Los Angeles Country Club to the east and from Glendon Avenue to the west.

Architecture and Construction

The Carlyle residential high-rise was designed by KMD Architects as Design Architect and Harley Ellis Devereaux as Executive Architect.

KMD, formerly Kaplan, McLaughlin, Diaz of San Francisco, conceived the curved-glass tower footprint, core aesthetic, and overall architectural shape. HED translated those concepts into working blueprints, managed California code compliance, and oversaw construction, which is why permit data lists HED as the building's architect of record.

Operations

The Carlyle HOA and management run a full-service model: concierge, doorman, valet, and onsite engineering team. At under 80 units, the staff-to-resident ratio is in a rarefied class, one of the highest on The Wilshire Corridor, reminiscent of a white-glove Manhattan or London building.

What that ratio means in practice: consistent, named staff who know the building and the residents. The due diligence question is not whether the model exists and provides top tier service. It does. The question is whether you can appreciate the value received for an all-encompassing monthly HOA fee.

Transaction Information

MLS data for 2025 and 2026 year-to-date reflect 7 closed sale transactions at The Carlyle, 10776 Wilshire Boulevard. Off-market activity and sales conducted through private listings are not captured in multiple listing service data and are therefore not reflected in these figures. Sales activity in this condominium high-rise is above average versus comparable Wilshire Corridor Buildings over this period.

Specific unit histories, transaction dates, and pricing details are intentionally excluded from this page by editorial standards. For a more detailed discussion of resale history, valuation patterns, and building specific context, please contact Native Angelino Real Estate.

Tom’s Read

The Carlyle is one of the most impressive buildings on the Wilshire Corridor. The staff, facilities, and services are commensurate with expectations of a Tier 1, full-service, high-rise condominium.

Unit list prices are often the least interesting number in the buy/sell equation. What matters sits behind the deal: staffing stability, reserve health, governance, and how individual units have actually been maintained and traded through cycles.

A serious Buyer is underwriting a decision, not shopping a listing. The HOA documents, the financials, and the resale history are where risk and upside reveal themselves, and where unit-specific value separates from building-wide assumptions.

A serious Seller is positioning an asset, not posting a price. The same documents that protect a Buyer dictate what a Seller can credibly defend. Floor, exposure, layout, and the building's current market standing each carry weight. Buyer-side and Seller-side, the same facts read differently.

That work belongs in a private, confidential conversation.

Every Client Is a Private Client. Whether you are evaluating a purchase or a sale at The Carlyle, the conversation that matters happens here, by appointment.
